Numerology is an old system of interpretation that assigns meaning to the numbers derived from a birth date and a name. This site explains each of those numbers one at a time: how it is calculated, what the tradition holds it to mean, and where the different schools disagree.
The arithmetic is written out on every page, so nothing here has to be taken on trust. Numerology is not a science and the site does not claim it is. The about page says exactly what is and is not being claimed.

Where the schools disagree
Most numerology writing presents a single method as if it were the only one. There are at least two in common use, and they do not always agree. The guides reduce the month, the day and the year separately before adding them. The site's own calculator adds every digit of the date in one pass. For almost every birth date the two land on the same number. Where they differ, a master number is involved, and the guide to 11 works through why.
Master number 33 is a sharper case. Under the component method the largest total any date can produce is 27, so a life path 33 cannot occur at all. The guide to 33 explains which conventions do produce it and what to make of being told you have one.
